JOHN MAYALL with Eric Clapton - Blues breakers (Beano Album) - UK Decca LP EX+
These records are all from my personal collection built up over almost 50 years. Some were bought new, others pre-owned so condition will vary. Please do read and understand the detailed description which is my honest personal assessment - you can always check how good or bad that is by checking my feedback. My attempt at grading is based on the commonly used Record Collector grading system. Questions are welcome if anything is unclear. Happy bidding

The Album:
A legendary record which is as timeless as it's brilliant - the godfather of British blues teaming up with Eric fresh from his time with the Yardbirds. A short-lived partnership, but one which produced one of the greatest albums of all time. This is my stereo copy which I think I bought around 1971 - I had (still have) an earlier original mono copy and tended to play that, so this one has very few plays.
Cover: Front-laminated single sleeve is fine. It has minor ringwear and a little laminate creasing but it is generally strong and intact with no tears or writing. There is very slight age browning close to the spine, but it is overall very clean - even the unlaminated and predominantly white rear.. The spine is strong and well defined and text is clearly legible. Excellent
Labels: Blue Decca boxed logo labels are bright and clean. Hardly any spindle marks, no stickers or writing, excellent.
Vinyl: Vinyl is great - it has very few of the expected faint paper marks, no nasty marks. It plays superbly.
Overall:
A fine looking copy of this album which plays excellently - I'd guess it would professionally grade at (cover/vinyl) EX / EX+

Postage: Reflecting new Royal Mail charges April 2014: Within UK, weight ranges usually allow up to three LPs to be posted for the same cost as one. For all other destinations costs are weight dependent, but incremental cost from additional LP's will normally cost less than the first. I am happy to hold records for a while if you wish to bid on more and combine shipment, but it helps if you can let me know particularly when bidding on items separated by a few days. Approximate prices for normal postage & packing -
UK £3.59 for up to 1kg (1,2 or 3 average weight LPs).
Europe £5.55 normal airmail, £10.55 signed-for. + £1.45 each additional,
Rest of world £7.85 normal airmail, £12.85 signed-for. + £2.70 each additional item
These amounts include actual Royal Mail cost for first class or air mail, plus 39p for actual cost of packaging material (a brand new custom mailer with stiffener). The greedy snouts in the trough at Ebay now charge sellers 10% of postage costs for which there can be no justification - I refuse to pass this shameful levy on to buyers, so you only pay post and packing.
Apologies, but owing to unreliability of some postal services, I will not ship to Italy, Russian Federation, & other former Soviet countries unless a signed for service is selected and paid for.
Losses: Royal Mail have reduced maximum compensation to £20 unless items are signed-for. Compensation on signed-for shipments is up to £50. Overseas purchasers - if your purchase is well over £20, a signed for service must be selected when paying or shipping will be at your own risk, not mine, and normal airmail will only be covered for up to £20.

I have decided to sell my whole vinyl collection as I know it won't be appreciated by my daughter or grandchildren, so I'm shifting it myself and hope I find good homes for it. Listed items are selected at random so there should be a decent if not particularly logical mix coming up over the next few months if you keep an eye on my other items now and in the future.
