This record is in very good+ condition. It has spindle marks visible on the labels, but no pen marks or any other damage. As for the vinyl itself, both sides have light hairlines and a few light surface marks, which are visible when tilted into direct sunlight. There are more light wispy lines visible under very bright white light, but nothing deep or really serious. The record has no blemishes, scuffs, has a lovely shine and is in pretty good shape for 48 years old.
I play tested the record and it plays very well. It is nice and flat, with only a very slight storage warp which causes a fraction of movement in the record arm. The sound produced is great. It has a small crackle in the run in and between some songs, but little other serious interference. There are no skips or jumps, any no other serious musical issues. It is despite the few light marks a very enjoyable audio experience and was a pleasure to play test.
The laminated sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has only slight wear to the edges and corners(pics), and the writing along the spine is all clearly legible. The sleeve is clean, bright and the spine is solid. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere, but there are faint ring marks showing on both sides. There is also some slight age related discolouring to the back but nothing major(pics). It contains a plain white poly-lined inner which although strong with no splits has age related discolouring and is generally grubby. I will therefore also send with a clean replacement.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to ensure swift delivery.
