Westering Home is the ninth album by English saxophonist John Surman recorded in 1972 and released on the Island label. This is the first album where he used the possibilities of overdubbing and composing on the fly. The album is sometimes considered to have started the jazz fusion genre
These LPs we have rated as some of the best condition you will ever find. They have come from a private family collector, many of the LPs for sale from this collection have only ever been a handful of times, each. Each album when played, was catalogued; when it was played, which side and how often. They have NOT been touched or played since 1980. Stored upright in special LP storage cases. Stored in a heated home nearly 40 years. There will of course be the signs of natural ageing of the covers and inner sleeves but the records themselves will be mark free. Vinyl Condition: Excellent - virtually unplayed Sleeve: Very Good, clean, uncreased.
