Disc is MINT+ (!), NO WRITING ON THIS ITEM WHAT SO EVER  

Front cover has some lifts in the lamination vg+, back ismint ! this cover is strong VG.

Ultra-rare white boy blues LP from Holland, it's on a lot of want-lists I get from Europe and never gets offered in Mint shape like this!

Blue Grey/Silver label, Decca unboxed logo and "ear" logo, matrix 6419 002.1.Y. Dead wax stamp number is AA 6419 002 1Y 4 670. This record is incredible white boy blues-boom blues at it's best

1968
In 1968 slaan een stelletje bluesfreaks in Haarlem de handen ineen. Nog hetzelfde jaar kunnen landgenoten kennis maken met de muziek van John the Revelator: een band gemodelleerd naar Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac, die het jaar daarvoor vanuit de Londense Marquee Club de wereld begon te veroveren.Het gaat John the Revelator direct al voor de wind.

1970
In 1970 wint de groep, tijdens een live tv-uitzending, de Loosdrecht Jazz Award en brengt de grammofoonplatenmaatschappij Phonogram de eerste LP “Wild Blues” uit. De intussen bekende “stompin’, swampin’ & hard-drivin’ live act” van de formatie levert de band intensieve toernees op in Nederland, België, Duitsland en Zwitserland.
