In 1988 the celebrated guitarist John McLaughlin formed this trio and toured it all over Europe and the US, which soon welded the musicians into a real band unit. In the course of the six week tour, which reached eleven European countries, the night at London's Royal Festival Hall had ended in an ecstatic standing ovation.
