Description

For sale is an exceedingly scarce, original copy of 1978 one-off private press punk single "I Suck/Punk Rock Star", by John Vomit and the Leather Scabs on a private press green label with copyright credit to Paloma music, 1978. The name of the band and song names suggest these guys are making fun of punk, but the music itself is brilliant, bruising DIY punk rock, raw, amateur, dangerous-sounding. As I've read it, these guys had one show only before a showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, recorded this on one or two takes and sold it to friends. VERY RARE!!!! I can only find reference to a single copy that has ever sold on ebay, it may be awhile before another one of these comes to market. This is a great copy, too, with the vinyl rating a super-clean M-/NM and pristine labels. Shipping $4 in US, $20 worldwide USPS registered mail with tracking and signature confirmation).
