duke records DLP 71, the first pressing 1956 cover WITHOUT the playing card

condition of cover: beautiful with no seam splits, no ring and no edge wear. the front is factory laminated. there is some loss of text on the back (from tape removal?) and some aging along the back edges (visible in scan). Otherwise this is a gorgeous copy of this extremely hard to find original cover.

comments: Note again that this is a COVER ONLY auction. There is no vinyl. Do not know what became of it. Nonetheless, this is a great opportunity to upgrade to the original 1956 version of this cover. The value difference between this first version and the second "playing card" cover is hundreds of dollars. I guarantee that this is not a reissue or a bootleg. It comes from an estate with records of the era, like the Fireballs Vaquiero LP and some vintage jazz LPs that I also have up for auction.
