JOHNNY ACE Memorial Album LP Vocalion label 1961 VG/VG VERY RARE!

Very rare and collectable Johnny Ace album released in 1961 on the Vocalion record label and in very good condition!

This is a genuine UK 1st pressing on the Vocalion record label and is very hard to find especially in very good condition!

I try to be as honest with my grading of vinyl as possible and would never offer albums or singles that were anything less than in good condition (using the Record Collector

Magazine Grading System as my guide – see below).  I clean (if required) and then play all the albums and singles I offer on e-bay before listing them.

Also, I supply a number of good quality photographs whenever possible. You need have no doubt what you are bidding on after checking these out.

All albums and 12" singles are sent out in card mailers with strong stiffeners.

Format: Vinyl LP (33/3rpm)

Record Label: Vocalion

Catalogue No: VA 160177

Country: UK

Year: 1961

Condition of vinyl: In very good condition and plays perfectly with only a minor deterioration in sound quality evident. There are a number of

minor surface marks and scuff lines visible but nothing major that affects play and no loud pops and crackles.  There is of course, for a record of this age,

the occasional very light surface noise in the quieter moments.

Matrix Numbers: VMGT-1772-1B, VMGT-1773-2B

Condition of labels: In very good condition with only minor spindle wear evident!

Condition of cover: The fully laminated flipback sleeve is in very good condition with only fairly minor signs of wear, creasing and discolouration

evident. Its also a bit frayed around the edges but not bad for a 54 year old LP!

Record Collector Magazine Grading System:

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or

poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be Mint.

EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from

folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
