The Burnette Brothers recorded these two tracks in
May 7, 1956 at the Pythian Temple, New York City, N.Y., the place where Bill Haley and the Comets got their fantastic sound.
Johnny Burnette : vocal, acoustic guitar
Dorsey Burnette : vocal, string bass
Paul Burlison : electric lead guitar
Eddie Grady : drums.
And it was pure dynamite. This original Coral single is in excellent condition, with no surface noise on the music, and features the amazing powerful sound singles had in the Fifties. It comes in it's original Coral sleeve in a near mint condition (has some wrinkles and a tiny tear).

I should have taken more time before answering Ake (see below): the matrix numbers are in fact not stamped, but etged (you can feel the depression when you put your finger on them) by a machine - so it seems - except the 8s that are handmade. I bought this record in 1961 in California so I am pretty sure it's the original. I just adde a scan of one of the matrix numbers.
The matrix numbers are etched, not edged!...
