Description

Auction is for an ULTRA RARE ORIGINAL CANADIAN-ONLY PRESSING of THE JOHNNY BURT SOCIETY'S "....COME SUMMER" LP on CTL (Canadian Talent Library). Of all the releases on the desirable CTL imprint, this is one of the most sought-after and best releases and features a wealth of great Canadian session players including Guido Basso, Eugene Amaro and Peter Appleyard amongst others. This has never been an easy title to find and at this point is near impossible considering the demand that has built up for it. As for the music, it's some of the most sublime sunshine ez pop ever released on the label featuring scat vocals and bossa styles abound. Reasonable starting bid given the condition of this copy. Cover has the slightest bit of wear and is near perfect. Vinyl looks unplayed... absolutely beautiful copy!
