There are three parts to this – the record, the Colonial cover and an insert the size of the record which when removed is seen to be four pages. Firstly, the condition of all three are about as good as they were when first purchased in 1957.This is the first (and rarest) pressing of this single. It has “45 rpm” to the left of the label. The (b) side of course was later covered by Eddie Cochran. The insert features a picture on the “cover” of Loudermilk (Dee) a little bit about him and an inducement to give the record a “spin”. Inside is a two page spread on his life story (and hobbies) with another larger picture and a message from Johnny. On the back is the story of Colonial Records by it’s owner. The cover is a special one minted for this record (see scan). A very early unique “package’ by one of the half dozen greatest singer/ songwriters of all time.

MINT: New condition, no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras in superb condition.

EXCELLENT: Slight signs of having been played, no lessening of sound quality. Cover, label, extras may show slight signs of usage.

VERY GOOD: Played quite a few times, no real deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras may show some amount of wear and tear.

GOOD: Showing considerable wear and tear. Reasonable, playable sound. Cover, label, extras may also display considerable deterioration.                                             

FAIR: Sound quality may have deteriorated. Cover, label, extras may also display significant wear and tear.
