TOP RARE white labeled Uruguayan test pressing on Philips.
Cardboard jacket is VG-/G+, it shows some general wear and a couple of wrinkles, radio station sticker by the open seam on front, thin yellowish remain from a removed tape on top seam, a shelving code & the name of the radio show written on back on dead space, radio station sticker and years yellowing, no tears or missing parts, still decent and in one piece.
Disc is VG, glossy surface shows hairlines & scuffs that are mostly cosmetic, there's a small groove flaw at the very beginning of A1 that causes a one second hiss and a pop, it might skip depending on the turntable's arm weight, it is recommendable to adjust it light, test pressings sometimes were not accurately pressed that's why they are test, vinyls were mastered & pressed in real time so engineer could do something wrong, errors in this process affects the groove & think this small flaw is because of that. Anyway record plays strong all through with some background surface noise and mild crackle at spots, all in all sound is clear and allows an acceptable listening experience, except the aforementioned flaw it plays with no skips, nice thick old vinyl pressing. Labels show noticeable yellowing from years of unproper storage in the station vault, the name of the artist and album has been typed on both, radio show ink stamp on A side and promo & shelving code stickers on B side.
Truly rare Jean-Philippe Smet overseas 33t , just a few pressed like this, many of them got destroyed or lost! This one has proudly stood the test of time.
