WILDLY RARE original Arnie Acosta mastered Terre Haute? pressing of this criminally overlooked jazz funk killer from 1974 on Salvation with original printed inner sleeve and the number 3, the last digit of the matrix number in the dead wax on side 1, corrected with the number 4 etched on top of it!!! LP is a beautiful VG++/NM-. Cover is VG+/VG++ with a hint of ring. Shifting Gears was an undeniably great album and always seems to get most of the attention when it comes to Johnny's mid-70s work (particularly the title track, with its oft-utilized break) but this one is neck-and-neck with Gears in this collector's never humble opinion. You will not be disappointed.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF US VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
