RARE! 1959 US original CACTUS CA-45-118 smokin' guitar band rock-a-billy by the legendary Johnny Watson. OK, he has a piano in the band too, but this is all about rockin' with that southern twang in the voice and hot guitar throughout. They give the piano player a spot too but hey it's the guitar player's band!
'10' is written small in pencil on the 'Crazy' side label and 3 times on the 'Rock' side (1 partially erased), but this is minor and doesn't interfere with any label graphics. No other writing, no stickers, no other label wear, nice. There are a couple of minor superficial marks on 'Crazy', otherwise only very light play wear, still has plenty of surface shine, and this record plays with a minimum of surface noise, it rocks.
This is not only rare but also very cool, a great addition to any serious early rock 'n roll and/or obscure rockabilly collection.
