Description

This is an overall fine original pressing copy of the third LP, and second for the Columbia label, by Texas blues-rock guitarist Johnny Winter, released like its predecessor in 1969.  Winter signed with Columbia after knocking around locally for a decade, releasing one rare (and quickly reissued) LP and several singles in that time.  His supporting group from his first two LPs is back, joined by younger brother Edgar on keyboards.  Like his prior LPs, this one features a mixture of original compositions and covers; notable among the latter is a high-octane boogie take on Bob Dylan's "Highway 61 Revisited."  The gatefold jacket has mostly light ring, corner, spine, and seam wear, and light staining inside the gatefold (VG+).  The discs are clean with some light scraping and scuffing, and play with occasional light surface noise (EX+).  The record comes with the original label inner sleeves.

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
