Jonathan Richman is an American singer,songwriter & guitarist.In 1970 he founded The Modern Lovers an influential proto punk group..Other notable members of the group were keyboardist Jerry Harrison & drummer David Robinson who later joined Talking Heads and The Cars,respectively.. In 1972 they recorded a series of demos with producer John Cale!!!. Later in 1972,the group also recorded another demos with Kim Fowley.Despite playing live regularly the group had a difficult time securing a recording contract...In 1975 J.Richman moved to California to record a solo singer songwriter on the independent label : Beserkley records.His first released appeared on "Beserkley Chartbusters Compilation". In 1976 J.Richman reactivated a new version of The Modern Lovers... This album was released in May 1976,three months before the older "The Modern Lovers" sessions were finally released!!! In Th UK J.Richman was recognised as a progenitor of the punk rock scene!!!!!
Vinyl in great shape,no hairlines,no pop,noisy!!!.Plays excellent all the times!! Cover have minor damage on a corners,minor folds.InShrink!!! With original yellow inner sleeve!! Nice copy!!!!! Origianl US pressing!!
