This is the rare EP that José Cid, the renowned Portuguese musician and founder leader of psychedelic stalwarts Quarteto 1111, released in 1977. It was also his last record under his contract with the Portuguese branch of EMI Records, Valentim de Carvalho.
One year before the acclaimed LP 10000 Anos Depois Entre Vénus e Marte, who is cherished by proggers worldwide and who is featured in Hans Pokora’s books, this is a 12-minute suite divided between the two sides of the EP. Lyrically and musically, it tells the story of an individual starting from his birth and ending with his sudden death in a car accident. There are many extraordinary moods in this opus, with calm passages and killer parts. Don’t lose your chance of getting this relic!
