José Mauro toured a unique way of MPB of the 1970s, exploring the sensitivity of the notes to the extreme, which legitimizes the myth created around his figure. The comparisons are vague. Some would risk Edu Lobo by the similarity of the vocal tone and option by loaded orchestras, or even Arthur Verocai by the melancholy atmosphere.
