Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my rare Beatles, Beatles Related and Rolling Stones records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare Dutch pressing of Jotta Herre – Penina b/w North single on the Philips label with cat. no. 369 002 PF with Picture Sleeve.
The record is in EX condition, there are a few non-sounding hairlines only. The labels are in EX condition, there are a few spindle marks only.
The original picture sleeve is in VG+++ condition, there is only some slight ring wear on both front and back and there is a punch hole in the upper left hand corner. Further this cover still looks great, no writing no rips or tears or other damage besides mentioned.
This is an extremely rare Dutch Beatles related by the Spanish band Jotta Herre. As fas as I know, this is the only single the band ever made and much more important, the song “Penina” was composed by Paul Mc.Cartney. When Paul and Linda were on Holidays in Spain late 1968, he was jamming with Jotta Herre at the hotel bar and Paul gave this song away to Jotta Herre. This song was also recorded by Carlos Mendes, who claimed that Paul gave this song to him. However, Jotta Herre was the first band to put this song on record, but unlike other songs that Beatles members wrote for other, this one wasn’t a success. This is a real opportunity to complete your life-time Beatles record collection! A must have for all Beatles records collectors! Happy Bidding!
