JOVE - Into The Shrine (Aleph ) 1977
Strange LA Private Pressing from 1977 appears to be straight folk rock, downer Folk at first but starts giving you goosebump atmosphere after repeated listening with a strange mystical cult like undertone. Feels like there is some hidden message between the grooves, an urge to revolution , weird prophecies. Trippy Linernotes with mystical , magical formulas and Aleister Crowley symbols.“Visita Interioara Terrae, Rectificando invenies occultum lapidem”.A Big thanks on the back to a bunch of people belonging to some weird cults (FoWest,FoNord,FoHat,FoMex).Musically in the Folk Rock vein , from soft whispering to more unptempo style , even heard some fuzz in one track. Full Backing band with plenty of percussion, bass , acoustic and electric guitars , piano.Recorded 10 different studios including one in Mexico City and one in Tel Aviv.Strange sculpture of the “Record Boy” on front cover and pure white vinyl add to the mystique.Clean Sealed Original numbered 450/1000 and signed by Jove himself!

Shipping and Handling in the US is $6.00 for Priority Airmail. Each additional LP $2!Media Mail for smaller Items at $3.50 for up to 5 LP’s . Insurance is up to the Buyer at an additional cost , Canada is $6 airmail. Overseas costs $12 to Europe for small packet airmail, $13 to Asia and Australia. Additional LP’s are $3 each!
