JOY DIVISION ‘AN IDEAL FOR LIVING’ RARE ANONYMOUS RECORD LABEL 12" VINYL FOUR TRACK EP, Cat No ANON 1A-1B.
An Ideal for Living is the debut EP by English post-punk band Joy Division. It was released in 1978 by the band's own label Enigma, shortly after changing their name from Warsaw. All tracks were recorded at the Pennine Sound Studios, Oldham, on 14 December 1977. The release reflects the band's early punk influences, as opposed to the post-punk style the band would later develop. When the EP was re-released on 12 inch vinyl the original cover was replaced by artwork featuring scaffolding.
This 12” EP contains four tracks and are Warsaw, No Love Lost, leaders of men & Failures.
Both record labels and both sides of the 12” EP are in Near Mint condition, the labels show nothing more than a couple of play signs.

The EP plays through all four tracks without faults, a stunning playback quality from this 12” E P, without any clicks, pops, skips or background noise.
The picture sleeve with artwork featuring scaffolding is in superb Excellent Plus condition, with mild E P storage signs to the front, and a tiny rub mark on the top edge and light wear to the opening edge but nothing major, the bottom edge and spine edge and wording are perfect.
