JOY DIVISION An Ideal For Living (Mega rare ORIGINAL 1978 UK 4-track 7" vinyl EP on the bands own Enigma label, housed in fold-out 'Hitler Youth drummer boy' picture sleeve, this legendary item has it's own place in the history of punk/new wave!

HISTORY
This 4-track 7" EP was recorded at the Pennine Sound Studio, Oldham in December 1977 when the band were still known as WARSAW. It was eventually released in the summer of 1978 on the bands' own Enigma label, after the band name change to Joy Division.
This was their first official release and before signing to the legendary Factory Records label.
The sleeve, which showed a controversial image of a Hitler Youth drumming boy alongside the 'Joy Division!' name, folds out into a 14" x 14" poster sleeve which was designed by band guitarist Bernard Albrecht (nee Sumner). Legend has it that the band had to fold the sleeves and add the vinyl 7"s themselves!
CONDITION
The matt black label has silver lettering with the catalogue number PSS139

The vinyl itself is in Excellent condition.
The black & white sleeve folds out into a 1-sided 14" x 14" 'poster'. The overall condition is excellent with minimal discoloration, creases or marks.
This record is original and has been in my possession for over 14 years.
This has the serrated edge along the edge of the label and also has the letters E G in the matrix.
