Rare 1980 First British pressing of Joy Division's classic and legendary album "Closer." Fact XXV on nice dark burgundy red translucent vinyl which can be seen when held up to a light as you can see in image #6. Please note: The vinyl is translucent DEEP BURGUNDY when held up to a light as you can see in image #6. When the vinyl is not help up to light it looks black, as it should,as you can see in my other pictures.
Side One has "Fact 25" "A1" "Old Blue?" etched on run-off in vinyl. (See image #3). Side Two has "Fact 25" B1 etched into run-off.
The cover is smooth. The first pressing came both smooth and textured; either way they are both first pressings. The inner sleeve is squared on the corners as it should be with this pressing.
Original Owner; taken very good care of since 1980. Vinyl: Excellent condition. No playback defects. Vinyl is very shiny and glossy; could use a very light cleaning as it hasn't been played in many years. I'm not a professional record grader, just a fan and collector but I'm sure you will be quite happy with the fine condition of the vinyl. Record sleeve: Has some light wear to corners and edges; some creasing on front and back and ring wear to front and back. cover still displays very nicely. Inner sleeves look very good with just expected light wear from occasionally taking out of record sleeve. See all images provided for best looks at condition.
Priced very fairly to sell quickly.
Shipped very fast and very securely in a nice thick record album box.
