A FACTORY SAMPLE

1978, uk Factory FAC 2. Here is a brilliant original uk first pressing of the very first records to be released by the Manchester based Factory record label. This extremely rare set contains 2 x 7" 33rpm E.P.s with tracks by The Durutti Column, John Dowie, Cabaret Voltaire and of course Joy Division. The vinyl's come in a fragile thin paper foil affect gatefold cover sealed in thin plastic, this set comes with the original sheet of four stickers, unfortunately the very small single sticker is missing, but apart from that this mega-rarity is in brilliant condition, if needed you could cheat a little and buy the recent reissue and include the small sticker from that set to complete this one. This is simply a top copy of this massive Factory records/Joy Division rarity that will definitely not disappoint in any way. All pictures are of the actual item for sale. Please check out my other items !

CONDITION = NM

Both vinyls are in mint minus as new condition, it's obvious that the records have been extremely well looked after and have been barely played at all. All four sides play and sound as new with no surface crackle and no lessoning in the sound quality. All four labels are in superb clean condition with no marks or wear. The foil affect folded gatefold cover is excellent with only a little light creasing, it's pretty much impossible to find this very thin flimsy sleeve without a little handling/creasing, the outer shrinkwrap is excellent with no holes or rips. The 45 will be sent in new white paper covers to preserve the original gatefold.

The MP3s below were taken directly from the actual original vinyl 45s for sale, these two records have only ever been on a turntable just a couple of times since new, both still look, play and sound MINT- so there is no surface crackle and there is silence between tracks, what you hear is what you will get, you will not find these original records in better condition than this, they are simply superb and will not need a future upgrade..Guaranteed..!!!

JOY DIVISION (6.40)       THE DRUTTI COLUMN (8.18)     JOHN DOWIE (5.58)     CABARET VOLTAIRE (6.50)

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ BEFORE DECIDING TO BID

I pack my records very well with plenty of card support to avoid damage. I cannot take responsibility for any non-insured items that may be unfortunate to go missing or get damaged in the post. I keep all Post Office Payment Recipes as proof of postage. I always print my name and address on the back of all parcels i send, so the chances of a item going missing are pretty much nil. The recorded post option is always there, it may cost a few extra pounds for international buyers, but it is definitely worth it for the extra piece of mind. So, if for some reason a non-insured parcel does not arrive, then i'm afraid that i cannot be held responsible for loss or damage. If you do not agree to this then please do not bid. Thank you.
