JOY DIVISION: An Original 20th July 1976 “THE SEX PISTOLS” Gig Ticket From The Manchester Lesser Free Trade Hall, and a Fully Signed Original Buzzcocks “Spiral Scratch” 7in EP.

Description:
Near to Unique, this “THE SEX PISTOLS” Gig ticket from 20th July 1976 at The Manchester Lesser Free Trade Hall is like a window looking-out at one of the most relevant and momentous events in western pop music culture.
The strange chaotically stirring sound and visual attitude of “THE SEX PISTOLS” on that evening created an unexplainable inspirational atmosphere of long-lasting affect.
Among others attending the Gig on that night, and before the birth of WARSAW were Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook and Ian Curtis, so the relevance and what was motivated is for all to see and understand in their own way, and this ticket “Was There”.
The ticket appears to have been made by mechanical printing, as there are small ink-droplets all over it, and looked at very closely it is possible to see the slight ink seepage from the print onto the blue stock card paper.
Another thing to notice is how-very close the parallel lines are to one another, and the small dots at the lower part of the ticket. These two, with the mechanical printing method are probably done intentionally so to detour any unauthorised DIY making of such Gig tickets.
The fully Signed Original first pressing of 1000 Buzzcocks “Spiral Scratch” 7in EP is in excellent condition, both disk and cover.
The display is 20.5cm x 35cm and each item is inside easy to remove acid-free holders, the white paper is on the outside of the ticket holder, so to help emphasis the displayed blue ticket.
