this is the limited edition original UK 1st pressing with hard clothbound 'hessian' gatefold outer sleeve with embossed card gatefold inner sleeve held in place by ribbon and die cut card inner sleeves with grey & white paper labels
on original UK 1st pressing 2 x LP in clothbound hessian outer sleeve & gatefold picture sleeve with die cut card inner sleeves & paper labels
released on Factory Records FACT 40 in 1981
etched matrices are :- FACT 40 A1 EG P3 THE CHICKEN WON'T STOP TOWNHOUSE & FACT 40 B1 EG P3 -< -< -< -< -< -< TOWNHOUSE & FACT 40 C1 CW -< -< -< -< & FACT 40 D1 EG # P3 THE CHICKEN STOPS HERE TOWNHOUSE
The condition of the records are excellent ( have a few light hairlines / withdrawal marks but plays through fine ) .
The debossed clothbound hessian sleeve has very mild rubbing / ageing on edges & spine, the ribbon is worn but is intact.
The debossed textured gatefold picture sleeve has very mild discoloring on edges & very mild creasing and scuffs on the corner edges.
The inner die cut sleeves are excellent.
The labels are clean with a few light spindle marks .
A lovely original UK 1st pressing with the clothbound hessian outer sleeve and ribbon !
