JOY DIVISION
"TRANSMISSION / NOVELTY"The first single on Factory. Released in mid October 1979 as 7".
The initial run of 10,000 pressings came in a textured sleeve.
The subsequent runs of another 20,000 pressings came in textured or glossy sleeves.
Issued as 12" in late 1980, according to Tony Wilson "due to continuing unhappiness with cut on 'Novelty'"
