This record is in excellent- condition. It has just a few incredibly faint spindle marks visible on the labels and there are no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage such as stains or fading. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the labels are clean, bright and in great condition.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything remotely serious but do have some very minor, very light surface lines showing in normal light. There is also the odd very minor 'sleeve scuff' visible and a couple of thin areas of minor wear. These are clear signs of use but are minor, light and nothing sinister. There are a few more showing under bright light, but not loads more and of course nothing sinister. So this classic record is in good shape overall and has no nasty scuffs, serious marks or blemishes and has a lovely lustre.I play tested the record and it played very well and sounded great throughout. It lays flat, there is next to no movement in the record arm and the sound produced is very enjoyable. Its clear with only an occasional minor trace of surface noise or interference audible. There is a minor amount in the run in and the odd very minor hint but on the whole it is very clear and of great quality. There is no distortion caused by excessive use and of course there are no skips, sticks or annoying clicks/pops. It was a pleasure to play test and produced audio of nice quality and good clarity.
The textured sleeve is in very good condition. It has rubbing/wear to the edges and corners, with the writing along the spine now not clearly legible. There are no splits anywhere and overall the sleeve is solid with no weak areas. It has slight minor creasing in places and mild ring marks but nothing major. There are no tears or pen marks but there is a sticker removal mark on the front in the top right corner area. There is also some light ring marks and fading in places. This occurs to both sides but is not horrific. Overall a strong sleeve which although not perfect is far from a disaster and is free of major defects. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition. It includes its original picture inner which is in excellent condition. This has no tears, splits or pen marks but some very minor creasing and slight ring marks. There is also a hint of discolouring to it and a sticker in one corner. The record will be sent in a brand new plain white replacement to ensure no damage occurs to the original during transit.
