JOY DIVISION 'UNKNOWN PLEASURES' VINYL LP WITH THE TEXTURED COVER AND PRINTED INNER. THE VINYL IS BLACK, NOT TRANSLUCENT.
THIS IS THE ORIGINAL UK FIRST PRESS ON THE EMI RECORDS LABEL WITH CATALOGUE NUMBER EMC 3370
MATRIX NUMBERS IN THE RUNOUT ARE 'FACT 10 INSIDE 1 A + LYN 9435' AND 'FACT 10 OUTSIDE 1 B + LYB 9436'. THE THERE IS ALSO 'PORKY PRIME CUT' ETCHED INTO BOTH SIDES AND 'THIS IS THE WAY' ETCHED INTO ONE SIDE AND 'STEP' ETCHED INTO THE OTHER
THIS COPY IS IN VG+/EX CONDITION. THE COVER WOULD ALSO BE EX EXCEPT FOR SOME MINOR WEAR TO THE OPENING EDGE WHICH HAS BEEN REINFORCED.
Please note that I use the following gradings:-
MINT - The record itself is in brand new condition. The cover and inserts are in perfect condition.
EX - The record has no major defects and plays with very little lessening of sound quality if any. There may be one or two surface marks that do not play. The cover and inserts have only very minor wear and ageing
VG - The record has only minor defects which generally do not effect play. There may be the occasional crackle in the quiet parts or between tracks. The cover has no major tears but may have some where to the edges and ageing
I do not sell records that are less than VG/VG standard.
I post worldwide and charges are as follows £4 for the first disc to the UK. £7 for the first disc standard small packet airmail to Europe and £10 for the first disc standard small packet airmail to the rest of the world. Additional discs are £1 extra. Double LPs count as two discs. Please note that I refund payments for any records returned to me but I do not pay the return postage and payment is required within three days of the end of the auction. Good luck with this auction.
