3ChordRecords is offering for sale an Excellent UK 1st Press LP by Joy Division "Unknown Pleasures" on Factory Records.

The disc is pressed on extra thick black vinyl and is in Excellent condition, the record retains much of its original sheen, under bright halogen lights there are a number of light hairline marks visible, but no deep scratches, the labels are excellent plus, WHEN HELD UP TO THE LIGHT THE DISC IS TRANSLUSCENT RED (see photo) CONFIRMING THIS AS AN ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS, matrix numbers are 1A:1B. The record comes in the original white card inner sleeve which has a small seam split on the bottom edge (1 inch) and light discolouration patches to the cream. The textured outer picture sleeve is in Excellent condition there is some light wear to some corners and edges, there are no seam splits or tears and the spine is fully readable.
Overall a superb original 1st press of this increasingly hard to find Joy Division LP. Bid with confidence.
