JOYCE, NANA VASCONCELOS & MAURICIO MAESTRO 'Visions Of Dawn' LP (UK, Far Out Recordings, Catalogue #FARO 138LP) Brand new/unplayed copy of limited year 2009 Far Out Recordings label edition (original, first pressing from 2009) of previously unreleased 1976 sessions by Joyce, Nana Vasconcelos and Mauricio Maestro.

'Visions of Dawn' is the stunning, previously unreleased Paris 1976 project from three Brazilian music legends. Led by the sharp lyrics and gorgeous, expressive voice of Joyce the trio is completed by the expert musicianship of her close friends Nana Vasconcelos (percussion) and Maurice Maestro (electric bass, vocals, guitar, production) who were both crucial in creating this masterpiece. These beautiful, hazy and understated recordings, which took place among the charming artistic scene of 1970s Paris, offer a unique opportunity to sit-in on the original jamming session tracks that would later become Brazilian cult classics, such as the glorious 'Clareana' named in tribute to Joyce's daughters Clara & Ana. 'Visions of Dawn' is a legendary 'lost' treasure encapsulating the special freedom and beauty of Joyce, Nana and Mauricio's music that has finally been set free after 33 years.'
