Monterose ' BLUE NOTE BLP 1536 (USA) mono Lexington label with the deep groove on both sides - has flat edge and has frame cover - on bottom back cover has the address 'Lexington Avenue' - rec. on October 21, 1956 - original 1957 first issue - on trail-off (dead wax) has stamped 'RVG BNLP 1536 A' and 'RVG BNLP 1536 B' - has the 'ear' on side B onlySide 1 : Wee-Jay (Monterose) - The third (D.Byrd) - Bobbie pin (Monterose) Side 2 : Marc V (Monterose) - Ka-Link (Joe Jones) - Beauteous (P.Chambers)
Visual grading : record is EX- full lustre has very few short light unfeelable lines barely visible mostly on side 1. Also a couple of unfeelable micro scuffs barely visible. Clean labels with few light spindle wear
Playing grading : record is EX- to EX plays very well with loud and clear sound. Has minimal occasional background noise in few quieter parts (i.e. on bass solos) and very few occasional light ticks This very heavy typical 50's vinyl (gr. 240) is in outstanding condition
Cover grading : cover is VG has wear to corners, edges and to spine. Bottom edge has been repaired for a split. Front is fairly nice. Back cover has light rubbing and a tiny trace left by a sticker removal
