This is a deluxe 2 vinyl records box set titled THE RANKIN BASS PRODUCTION OF THE HOBBIT - THE COMPLETE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK INCLUDING DIALOGUE, MUSIC, AND SONGS - BASED ON THE ORIGINAL VERSION OF THE HOBBIT WRITTEN BY J.R.R. TOLKIEN. The set includes the Special Edition Book and the original box from Buena Vista Records. Both of the LPs are in mint condition. It looks like they weren't even played. The full-color book has reading wear. The box has wear and the paper hinge the held the cover on the box has come loose (please see photos.) I do not think you can find better looking records unless you find one of these sets sealed. A very cool vintage item from the seventies. A great gift for the Lord Of The Rings fan in your life!
