J.S. Bach Violin Sonatas 1 & 2 Johanna Martzy UK Columbia 33CX 1286
On this extremely rare record, Johanna Martzy performs the Bach “Violin Sonatas No’s 1 and 2”. An English mono pressing on the Columbia Label (33CX 1286), the labels are dark blue with gold lettering and a groove, and this is a pancake pressing. The record is of worn appearance with some light scuffs, and plays and sounds very well with consistent surface noise and some crackle and occasional click. The cover is a little grubby and has a water stains along the right-hand edge.
