JUDAS JUMP. SCORCH. 1970 UK1st PRESSING ON PARLOPHONE LABEL. PAS 10001. YEX 793-1G/YEX 794-1G MATRIX. VINYL GRADES EX+. GATEFOLD COVER VERY GOOD.
My listening equipment is a highly revealing Yamaha PF-800 turntable (easily equal to an LP12) with Glanz MC cartridge, pre/power amps and KEF Reference 104ab speakers. I play grade records (not just visual inspection) and I clean them on a vacuum record cleaning machine before listening.
Played on my system this LP grades Excellent+ with just some very minor background noise between tracks. Side two has a few soft ticks to the intro of track 4 which are not intrusive and only mentioned for accuracy. The vinyl has just a few hairlines which are of no audio consequence. The laminated gatefold cover is very good with the following faults: there is a small patch (less then 1cm) of damage to the spine (visible on a couple of the photos), a tiny bit of wear to the bottom of the front cover (see close-up photo) and there is a small nick to the edge on the front cover near the bottom (see close-up photo). These are minor faults and, in my opinion, the cover still merits a Very Good rating.
Overall this is an excellent example of an extremely rare UK 1st pressing.
