Description
This is an auction for a copy of the Classic debut Lp by Judas Jump entitled "Scorch" released in the Uk in 1970 on Parlophone records catalogue number PAS 10001. This is a very rare first press on the One Box EMI label with the Matrix number YEX 793-IG and YEX 794-1G.
The Vinyl looks in absolutely superb condition and i am happy to grade it as visually being in Near Mint condition if not better. I have listened to the entire Lp at high volume and it sounds great as well. The music is very clear and vibrant with plenty of punch and plays through without any skips, jumps, clicks or ticks and i happy to grade the audio as Near Mint, if not better.
The labels are in Near Mint condition and look superb with only a couple of light spindle marks visible on side 1 only.
The Original Garrod and Lofthouse laminated gatefold cover is in Excellent++ condition. There is some very light storage wear to the corners and some very light ringwear to the rear but the sleeve looks very nice indeed!!
Overall a SUPERB copy of this rare LP

Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
