JUDAS PRIEST STAINED CLASS. This is the true 1978 original first-pressing of this scarce album from Priest. JC 35296. There was a later pressing / release PC 35296 that was from the 1980’s. You will see on eBay this later version “touted” as the ‘78 original. Not so. See also the Matrix Number section. This album was the big controversial one. Some poor young teen committed suicide while playing this album. Rob Halford and the boys had to go to Court over this. These were the early days of censorship, Tipper Gore, etc. I remember well Rob Halford testifying in court. Pink Floyd had a similar issue with the song Goodbye Cruel World from The Wall.
AnyHOO, here it is, the original first pressing. 1978. And a fine album. I have been a fan of Judas Priest my entire life. They fuc*%ng rock guys! I recently had two other Priest vinylS listed but they have sold. Great group. And “deliciously pristine vintage black glossy VINYL!!!” Why, it’s good-enough to eat lol
