VERTIGO LABEL 1969 LARGE SWIRL FIRST UK PRESSING WITH PHILIPS CREDIT, GATEFOLD SLEEVE IN VERY GOOD ALL ROUND CONDITION.

Released in 1969 on the VERTIGO spiral / swirl label, I am offering today this very good condition Original first UK pressing of this debut rock classic by UK six piece JUICY LUCY which is simply titled "JUICY LUCY" The album contains some great tracks including the single Bo Diddley's classic WHO DO YOU LOVE.

The album is a rare first UK pressing with the large swirl and has the PHILIPS credit at the bottom of the label not an easy album to find these days as these very first PHILIPS credit pressings were printed in small quantity.

The album comes complete with original matt gatefold sleeve which has sleeve notes from Chris Welch (Melody Maker) is showing some light shelf wear but overall is very respectable with no splits or unwanted writing etc.

I have just played this through for these listing purposes and it plays through nicely. Needless to say absolutely no sticks or skips etc. Overall a nice playing example of this Vertigo classic.

The VINYL, The Vinyl visually & audibly is in very good condition. I have just played it through and can state that it plays with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc. Overall this is a nice playing example.

The SLEEVE, The gatefold sleeve is in clean condition but is showing some light shelf wear and the spine is no longer fully legible but overall this is a decent example.

The LABELS, The first issue Vertigo large spiral swirl labels are very clean. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc, and there is the Philips credit which were only on the initial release

The INNER, The Swirl company inner sleeve is clean.

I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
