JULEE CRUISE Floating Into The Night
Julee Cruise, Floating Into The Night.
Produced by David Lynch and Angelo Badalamenti, this LP features music from the cult USA TV series Twin Peaks.1989 Germany pressed (for UK market) Warner Bros stereo LP with lyric/photo inner sleeve, 925 859-1.
Earliest 1A/1B matrix suffixes marked to run-outs/dead wax.
Vinyl in near mint condition. Hard to detect any spider trail marks around the centre spindle areas. Playing surfaces are bright and glossy as new and free of any visible marks. Labels are similarly clean.
This is one of those instances where a very clean press is needed - anything less than an EX will disappoint, as there are many quiet patches in this moody and atmospheric LP. This one does not disappoint, and fully tested playback is near mint throughout, with no crackle, ticks or clicks, including at run-ins and band separators.
Inner sleeve is a strong VG. No marks or tears, and no seam splits. Some overall light thumbing creasing and creasing around the outline of the vinyl however. Grading is very conservative - this inner is typical of late 1980s construction, and although poly-lined, the sleeve is still wafer thin. Very few will have escaped some creasing.
External sleeve also a conservatively graded VG plus. Still very bright and clean and has not been knocked about or become worn and tatty. No sticker, pen etc. marks. A couple of very tiny and minor whitening spots to main panels, and some very minor and unobtrusive flaws such as minute creases and small pinch line creases leading in from edge areas. Aside from one or two pinpoint dots of whitening, edges and spine are free of wear or seam splits. Tips slightly dinged and whitened, slightly more so to bottom corners. Edges are still square and not rounded however.
All in all, a very well preserved LP.
