Description

Great artwork on the cover. Cover is a digipak gatefold. It has no splits, tears, cuts, holes etc. Tiny yellow sticker on front corner. There is slight ring wear and a small sticker removal stain on the back. Inside gatefold is near mint. Corners are sound. Original Decca sleeve included.
Vinyl has a few sleeve marks and light scuffs. No heavy scratches or cuts.
I played both sides on audiophile equipment to allow for an audible grade.
MY SPIN
Tracklist: A1 First Chapter: First Prophecy / "First Oracle" A2 Second Chapter / "The Coming Of The Mule" A3 Third Chapter / "Phantom City" A4 Fourth Chapter / "The Black Tower" A5 Fifth Chapter / "Alda, Dark Lady Of The Outer Worlds" A6 Sixth Chapter / "Altarra, Princess Of The Blue Woman" B1 Seventh Chapter: Second Prophecy / "Second Oracle" B2 Eight Chapter / Part One: "Twin Sun Of Centauri" B3 Ninth Chapter / "The Terran" B4 Tenth Chapter / "Fourth From The Sun" B5 Eleventh Chapter / "Strange Things" B6 Twelfth Chapter: Epilogue / "A Time Before This"
The record played superbly. There is some audible surface noise and faint crackle between cuts, but nothing too disturbing. Female vocals and narration. Main instruments were piano and keyboards. It seems to be a science fiction tale, but was over my head at my age, however, that's probably why I bought it all those years ago. The overall sound quality, while not perfect, was still very enjoyable. Hey, it's a rare progressive rock item, and like nothing you will ever hear on any radio these days. Thanks for reading.
