Description
A wonderful performance of the Brahms First Piano Concerto is given by Julius Katchen on this beautiful early stereo Decca LP.
Other details: The London Symphony Orchestra is conducted by Pierre Monteux.
Record details: Decca SXL 2172. Stereo. Wide band grooved label, 1st pressing.
Date of issue: 1960.
Condition of disc: A fine glossy disc in excellent condition that plays perfectly.
Condition of sleeve: Very good - excellent. There is however a serious crease to the bottom right corner of the sleeve, visible in the photograph. The inner sleeve is in excellent condition. The sleeve notes are uncredited.
