Description
The Thing no catalog or matrix number
Original Jamaican press of one of Byles' last great records. Nice use of guitar lick from Otis Redding's "Dock of the Bay." Produced by Niney the Observer (but credited to Lloyd Campbell) in 1977. Rhythm also used by I Roy on "Water Rate." Flip is wicked version with hand drumming, credited to the Ethiopian Eunichs! (Fans take note: Junior Byles is on the comeback trail. Click here for a report. )
This is MINT*, unplayed store stock.
Listen to the vocal side.*We use a conservative interpretation of Goldmine's grading system. Our "VG+" is as good as most sellers' "M-" or "EX." Click here for complete definitions.
