Description
Jack Marshall & Shelly Manne Sounds. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail. This record was released by Capital (ST2610) in 1966. For a moment it was perfectly quiet in Capital's Studio A. Then producer David Cavanaugh signaled from the darkened co trol room, and tbey bagan. There were just two of them, but it sounded like more. While Jack Marshall sat relaxed in his chair, playing his introcate figures with deceptive ease, Shell Manne bent, leaned, reached and dashed between a score of percussion instruments grouped around six seperate microphones. Every opus is a unique " sound spectacular" - to be enjoyed singly or all together from the beginning of side one to the end
The record is in near mint condition and the cover is very good plus because of some signs of handling on two edges. (Please view photo). I am not a commercial record dealer, rather everything is from my private collection. I think you will be very happy with the quality.
