Description
Classic TV star tries to sing project going awry. Jack Webb of Dragnet fame decides to do a vocal album of romantic songs but because he can't sing a lick, he decides to "talk" the lyrics in that trademark staccato voice of his. "Songs" include You are Too Beautiful, Nancy, Try a Little Tenderness, Stranger in Town, When Sunny Gets Blue, You're My Girl, You'd Never Know the Old Place Now and several others. Released in Stereo on the Warner Bros. label, catalogue No. 1207.
I grade conservatively so that you won't be disappointed. Based on visual grading, the LP looks VG/VG+ there are 3 noticeable scratches on side 1 and some lighter scratches on side 2. Nothing too bad but they are definitely there. The jacket is mint minus - very nice shape. The record has always been stored in a protective sleeve.
