Description
Up for auction is a rare original deep groove mono pressing of Jackie McLean 'Lights Out' LP on Prestige Records PRLP-7035. Other musicians include Donald Byrd, Elmo Hope, Doug Watkins, and Arthur Taylor. It's not a great copy but a decent one of a hard record to find.
Record info:
VG with moderate scuffing, some large that visibly look bad but it still plays well and is enjoyable with moderate surface noise in some areas.
Cover info:
Moderate seam wear but no splitting. The cover has some creasing, a library style sticker on upper left front corner. The back cover has a sticker with the name of the previous owner, some minor writing around the personnel listing area, and some artwork tearing/folding on back right seam. Also a small tear on back bottom.
Label / Pressing info:
Original yellow/black W. 50th St address label with RVG initials on both sides in the dead wax area.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
