Description

The record is mono with the catalog number BLP 4215 whereas the jacket is stereo 94215.  Both labels on the record have New York USA address; 43 West 61st St. address on the bottom of the back cover.  The record has "van gelder" inscribed in the dead wax but no "ear".  It would seem unlikely that a mono record would be placed in a stereo jacket but Blue Note had a number of issues of stereo records in mono jackets. I can't explain this mix but it is not surprising.  This record has 4 tracks with McLean, alto sax; Larry Willis, piano; Bob Cranshaw, bass; Clifford Jarvis, drums.

Cover:     VG     1" split on the top edge at the insert edge.  Some corner wear.  Record ring on the front cover with a partial record ring on the back cover.  Light aging and some wear from ordinary handling.  Radio station call letters on the front and back cover, 3 on each.

Record:    Mint     Visually shows no wear.  The record appears new with no surface markings.  No surface noise.  Audibly checked.
