with Bill Hardman, Mal Waldron, Paul Chambers, Philly Joe Jones
released 1963
This album was originally issued as Jackie's Pal in 1956, his third effort for Prestige Records, and retitled Steeplechase in 1963.
Remarks: Mr. McLean graciously signed this LP at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City in 2000. Some memorabilia from the the club is also included.

no spindle marks on labels
I will remove the inner sleeve and vinyl from the outer sleeve to prevent seam-splits in transit,
and I will package the LP using a rigid mailer and reinforced cardboard.
