Description

1st pressing from 1980 of some of Jackie's best work first recorded in 1959 & 1963 with an all-star cast of like-minded, forward-thinking musicians such as Donald Byrd, Herbie Hancock, Tony Williams, et al. As stated on the back cover, *this material is released here for the first time.* The wax is in VERY GOOD+ condition. It shows a few light scuffs/hairlines on both sides, but nothing feelable. It still shows its original luster after all of these years and plays like a dream. The original Blue Note inner paper sleeve is present. The outer sleeve/jacket is VG. Ring wear is present, as is corner/edge wear with some small creasing, and a touch of discoloration. No splits. A chance to own an essential and hard to find piece of jazz history awaits!
