Description

This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Jackie McLean “Swing, Swang, Swingin’” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 4024. Side 1 has an inaudible hairline and a needle drop on Track 1 that produced four tics; Side 2 is as new; perhaps played once. The laminated New York 23 cover is in excellent condition; the back slick shows typical age toning; a few tiny nicks in the bottom seam. Personnel include Walter Bishop Jr., Jimmy Garrison, and Art Taylor.
