Description

This is the original deep groove Van Gelder-stamped “P”-pressing of Jackie McLean “Let Freedom Ring” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4106.  The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The laminated New York 23 cover is bright and clean throughout, with sharp corners and unworn seams; 1” superficial crease at the top right corner; ¼” break near the top of the opening; previous owner’s name boldly written with a marker at the top of the back slick.  Blue Note inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Walter Davis, Herbie Lewis, and Billy Higgins. $250.00
